PROFILE

I am a Bay Area artist and designer with six years experience teaching at the Academy of Art University in San Francisco. I am currently building a base of freelance clients in branding and web design. I play soccer and make rock posters for fun and inspiration.

Six years teaching a range of classes in the Graduate Web Design/New Media Department. Now developing curriculum and materials for high-level class Interactive Infographics. Advisor to graduate students on thesis projects. Thesis review committee member.

Freelance Designer, San Francisco, CA - Fall 2007 - Current
Now creating naming, branding and web design for an east bay solar energy start-up. Ongoing product and apparel design for SF record label Future Farmer Recordings.

Design Assistant to Mr. Primo Angeli, Mill Valley, CA - Jan 2001 - Feb 2002
Worked on high-profile designs and posters. Produced multi-media lecture with Mr. Angeli for over 250 people at the AIGA design conference, SF, 2001. Provided software training.

Owned three-person design studio in downtown San Francisco. Clients included Real Skateboards, Future Farmer Recordings, and Baywell Technologies. Sub-contract work for local design firms including The Ideas Group, Primo Angeli Inc., and Impact Design.

Designed web sites, animations, and CD-ROMs for in-house presentation. Provided design production and technical support to art directors and account executives.
